Vietnam's Mini Tourneys

Following football in Vietnam is so confusing. Putting aside the fact that 83.982% of the players are called Nguyen they have all these pre season competitions which are nigh on impossible to keep track of.

According to Viet Football, who is able to keep track of these things, the following have been organised including one featuring an Indonesian team!

The VFF Cup comes just a couple of weeks before the SEA Games...

Ho Chi Minh City Football Tournament: September 20th - 24th.

Vietnam U23, Singapore U23, Syria U23 and South Korea University Team.



VFF Cup: October, 19th - 23rd.

Vietnam U23, Thailand U23, Indonesia U23, Malaysia U23.

Thanh Nien Newspaper Under 21:

Group A: Vietnam U21, Malaysia U21, Aspire Academy (Qatar).

Group B: Iran U21, Thailand U21, Singapore U21.
